//The most humble man in Fashion...

...does it again. Christopher takes his girls into the air with his aviation/Earhart inspired winter collection of heavy shearling and tumbled leather flying jackets and military pea coats offset with pretty bandaged lace dresses. Beautiful and perfectly on-brand. Burberry really are the masters of the no-expense spared production that is sensitively thought through to reflect every essence of the British sensibility of the brand.

It has been super busy at work this week so no other reports of LFW as of yet. My life has, for the last six months been entirely consumed by the home of the trench coat and 'Haymarket' check. But I wouldn't have it any other way.

Credit where credits due to the events team too whom I worked with on Monday. The preparation, endless emails, running around and constant guest list changes every few minutes makes for a very stressful job. Plus those girls regularly work 12 hour days. But they pulled it off spectacularly - even if some of the front row-ers dropped out at the 11th hour (I won't say who they were but boy were they good!)

Burberry are on top of their game at the moment. Not only screening their show live, but also being the first brand to have three dimensional screenings of the AW10/11 show worldwide. Wish i'd have been at the New York screening!

Loving the fact that the runway outerwear and accessories are available to pre-order on the website too. Such a brilliant concept of generating custom whilst products are fresh in consumers minds and the hype is at its greatest!

I should very much like the following..
MILITARY DOESKIN AVIATOR COAT WITH DOUBLE COLLAR
CURLY SHEARLING CROPPED JACKET WITH GIANT COLLAR ...the velvet dress underneathMILITARY DOESKIN GREAT COAT WITH SHEARLING PANELPLISSÉ LEATHER HOBO BAG
I've seen the rest of the Prorsum bags too. You won't be disappointed.
More show round-ups to come

What a beautiful day

Tidied up the flat and now waiting for some friends to come over for an early birthday celebration. The boy has ordered lovely cupcakes from Primrose and the flat is tidied to perfection after last nights dinner party. Lovely. And the weather... Sunny and crisp. The communal garden looks so bright and peaceful. And to think I was convinced of a white birthday.

Thought I'd leave you with a beautiful sunny winter picture. Have a lovely day!

Note to self: JUST DO IT //

So I really need to start exercising but can't afford the gym.

Running? Out of question. These boobs weren't made for running (sounds like a song?). Fitness DVD? Bought three. Used two. Liked one. Completed none. Forgot how hard physical exertion is. So now I'm sitting here with several muscle groups I didn't know existed aching and contemplating a way to jazz up my regime. I guess there isn't a way, unless my weights suddenly turn to chocolate. However, perhaps if Ashish were to give me these sequin numbers, it would be a very attractive start:

Gay Cake...

...makes me happy.

"Please don't panic...i'm organic"

Emma Watson has not only been the face of Burberry for the last two seasons but has now turned her new found fashion 'status' to designing. Her first collaborative collection for fair trade organic fashion brand 'People Tree' is a mix of simple, very British basics in a subtle  and consistent colour palette. The collection has been designed with a younger consumer in mind and includes clothing and accessories for 'guys' as well as 'girls'.

Cutesy, youthful and ethically aware - Emma 'the face' will certainly shift the merchandise. A brand and collection much suited to her age and demeanour.

"It is hard to know what is good and what is bad on the high street and equally hard to find fashionable or youthful ethical clothing, so I decided to work with People Tree to put together a collection I could be proud of in terms of both ethics and design."

LOVE being naked

OK so the title of this post is a bit misleading. There will be no pictures of me 'loving' being naked you'll be very please to hear. I'll leave that to this lot in Love Mag's 'Fashion Icons' issue...

"For this issue of Love, we took eight women who are generally acknowledged as the most beautiful in the world, got them to show off their bodies – widely regarded as the most perfect in the world – and photographed them in exactly the same position for the cover," Katie Grand [Love editor]
